Halloween Fun, LEGO Style!

Our Family's Visit to Brick or Treat at LEGOLAND Florida

By Amanda Swank, publisher of Macaroni KID Winter Haven - Davenport, FL October 15, 2026

From trick-or-treating with LEGO monsters to Halloween treats and family-favorite rides, LEGOLAND Florida's Brick or Treat is full of not-so-spooky fun!

Halloween fun is in full swing at LEGOLAND Florida Resort in Winter Haven, and our family recently had the chance to check out this year's Brick or Treat celebration!

If you're looking for a Halloween outing that's more fun than frightening, this is one to add to your family's fall bucket list.

Between the colorful decorations, trick-or-treating, themed treats, and all the usual LEGOLAND fun, there's plenty to keep the kids entertained.

And we had a great time exploring it all!

Trick-or-Treating, LEGO Style!

One of the highlights of this year's celebration is the new Brick or Treat Street, and it was definitely a favorite for our daughter!

This isn't your typical trick-or-treating experience. LEGOLAND has created an entire Halloween neighborhood filled with colorful LEGO monster homes, interactive surprises, and, of course, candy!

Kids can make their way through the neighborhood, stopping at different monster-themed houses along the way.

Our daughter enjoyed this new addition, and it's such a fun way to bring a little extra LEGO creativity to a classic Halloween tradition.

Halloween Around Every Corner

One thing LEGOLAND does well is bring a theme to life, and Brick or Treat is no exception.

The Halloween decorations throughout the park were great! Everywhere you look, there are festive touches that make the whole park feel like part of the celebration.

And, of course, there are Halloween-themed food and treats to discover, too!

It's those little extras that make visiting during a special event different from an ordinary day at the park.

Our Favorite LEGOLAND Stops

Of course, no visit to LEGOLAND Florida is complete without spending some time enjoying our favorite attractions.

For our daughter, the LEGOLAND Water Park is always at the top of the list! It's easily her favorite area, so naturally, that was part of our day.

And then there's LEGO NINJAGO World, another one of her longtime favorites.

That's one of the nice things about visiting during Brick or Treat. You get the added Halloween festivities while still enjoying so much of what makes LEGOLAND a fun family destination in the first place.

Whether your kids are excited about collecting candy, exploring LEGO creations, riding their favorite rides, or splashing around at the water park, there's plenty to fill your day.

Keep in mind that LEGOLAND Water Park admission is separate from standard theme park admission, so check your ticket options when planning your visit.

Even More Halloween Fun

There's more to Brick or Treat than just the trick-or-treating!

Throughout the celebration, families can enjoy special Halloween entertainment, LEGO monster character encounters, themed activities, and plenty of photo opportunities.

Some of the seasonal experiences include:

  • LEGO Monster Meet-and-Greets: Meet some of the friendly monsters who have taken over LEGOLAND for Halloween.
  • Live Entertainment: Enjoy Halloween-themed shows and performances, including the Zombie Cheer Crew and The Great Monster Chase.
  • Potion Mischief Light Trail: Discover an interactive Halloween light experience.
  • Halloween LEGO Building Activities: Get creative with hands-on building fun.
  • Monster Skytacular: On select October nights, catch a special Halloween drone show.

It's a fun mix of activities that gives families plenty of options beyond the rides.

A Few Tips Before You Go

If you're planning a Brick or Treat visit with your family, here are a few things to keep in mind:

Dress for the weather. October in Florida can still be pretty warm, especially if you're spending the entire day outside. Comfortable costumes, sunscreen, and plenty of water are a must.

Bring a bag for candy. With trick-or-treating on the agenda, you'll want something to carry all those goodies.

Check the entertainment schedule. There are special shows and activities happening throughout the event, so take a look at the schedule when you arrive.

Make time for your family's favorite attractions. It's easy to get caught up in all the Halloween fun, but don't forget about the rides and areas your kids already love.

Plan ahead if you're visiting the water park. Check the operating calendar and make sure your tickets include water park admission.

Is Brick or Treat Worth a Visit?

If your family loves Halloween but prefers the not-so-scary side of the holiday, Brick or Treat is a great way to celebrate.

We especially enjoyed seeing all the Halloween decorations throughout the park, and the new Brick or Treat Street was a hit with our daughter.

Plus, getting to mix in her usual favorites, like the water park and NINJAGO, made for a fun family outing.

And for those of us in the Winter Haven area, it's pretty great having a place like LEGOLAND Florida Resort right in our own backyard!

Brick or Treat is included with regular LEGOLAND Florida Theme Park admission on participating event dates. Water park admission requires an eligible ticket or pass.
