Lakeland’s hometown airshow returns April 14–19, 2026, and the SUN ’n FUN Aerospace Expo kicks off in a big way with the Opening Night Concert on Tuesday featuring Cooper Alan, Thomas Mac, and Angie K. Concert admission is included with your SUN ’n FUN ticket, making it the perfect way to start an unforgettable week. During this special evening, SUN ’n FUN will also honor eight World War II veterans on stage in a powerful tribute to the heroes of the Greatest Generation.
The skies will come alive all week with incredible aerial performances from the USAF Thunderbirds, the F-22 Raptor Demo Team, the F-18 Rhino Demo Team, and more! This year also introduces a new Composite Airshow on Wednesday, combining day and night flying into one spectacular show from 5–9:30 p.m., along with dazzling night airshows with fireworks on Wednesday and Saturday.
Families will love the Pilot Pals Play Zone, Junior ACEs tents with hands-on STEM and aerospace activities, and the Family Oasis, where kids can cool off in an air-conditioned tent. Best of all, kids 12 and under are free.
Visitors can browse thousands of aircraft on the ground, walk the Warbird Ramp to see larger-than-life military aircraft, and grab a bite at The Island, The Sandbar, or the new Swamp entertainment area. Local favorites like Bartow Chick-fil-A, Keel & Curley Winery, LoveBirds Chicken, and GARD Construction are also joining the fun.
